For what it's worth, I'd like to tell you about Cloudflare. I heard about this free website optimisation and caching service from one of the blogs I read, Macgasm. When you sign up for Cloudflare, you enter your domain, and Cloudflare pulls all the DNS records currently on that domain. It has you double check the DNS records, and then tells you to change your current nameservers to Cloudflare nameservers. At this point, all requests to your website now go through Cloudflare. Cloudflare caches static images of yours, minifies your Javascript, CSS, and HTML (if you so choose). In addition, Cloudflare offers different "apps" for your domain, like always making sure Google Analytics code is on the page. A big feature of Cloudflare is the fact that it keeps records on abusive clients and hacked browsers, and blocks their requests to your site.
Cloudflare has sped up Toonbook significantly, I mean, I installed Cloudflare yesterday, and look at how much bandwidth it's saved us!
I'd highly recommend Cloudflare to any website owner big or small.
