Everyone has been asking us for new features for Toonbook, but what you guys may not understand, those features cost money.

So we think we've come to an agreement that will benefit us both: VIP Membership.

For $1 a month, $10 a year, or $100 for a lifetime, you can get:

• An Ad-Free Toonbook

• Skins for your profile (You can make your profile look unique and not as boring by adding different themes to it)

We are expecting VIP membership to be out sometime in the next few days, along with a few other smaller things.

Statistics

For those of you who don't know, Toonbook has over 500 members over the course of the 8 days it has been open. For fun, I wrote a script that pulls the member counts of some other popular fansites (TTC, TTH, GV2, TTSA, and of course, my own fansite). It then calculates how much bigger or smaller the fansite is. Check it out:

DDoS

Some of you may be unable to access Toonbook, not receiving any error messages, just a 'Server Not Found' error or something like that. Just got off the phone with the host, and they believed we were being DDoS'd. As a good host would do, they blocked all IPs involved. Thing is, we were never being DDoS'd. It was just a large server load. Currently working to allow you guys back on Toonbook.

EDIT: Toonbook should be back! The issue was, we had a large amount of users online, and the chat module was pinging too much, as the potentially DDoS requests were to the chat module's ping URI.
